In summer 2022, Carnegie Mellon University undergraduate Talia Oliver and professor of German Stephen Brockmann traveled to Poland to visit Holocaust memorial sites with Classrooms Without Borders. During their trip, they were joined by Holocaust survivor Howard Chandler and a large group of students and teachers from Pittsburgh and elsewhere. At this talk, they will talk about their experiences in Poland as well as their encounters with Ukrainian refugees.

Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
