Reflection MDFR by Zaire Howze-Jetter

The civil rights seminar I attended, inspired me most by the John Lewis memorial.

The whole experience shed light on the enduring struggle of black people for equality and justice. Through engaging discussions and presentations, we explored key moments in history where individuals like John Lewis played pivotal roles in advancing civil rights through nonviolent resistance and activism. The event served as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for social change and encouraged attendees to continue advocating for a more inclusive society where all voices are heard and respected. This seminar helped widen my personal knowledge on the hardships African Americans had to overcome and we have come far but this seminar helped me realized that we are no where near done.
