We had a fantastic trip yesterday and today from Pittsburgh to Tel Aviv. When we landed this morning to 70 degrees and sunny we hopped in our bus and headed north. Though tired from the journey our kids were taking in the sites as we drove to Karmiel. We arrived at the village with 2 hours to settle in, clean up and eat lunch. Around 3pm the group was introduced to their families at the village. They spent the next 5 hours getting to know their families. Some by talking,others by going to the playground, soccer practice and even dance practice. Tsipy and I just debriefed with the kids and it is very evident that lifelong bonds are already forming. Tomorrow we are off to the hot-springs with our families.
