When I came back into the Village, I was happy to see that I still know my way around. I was able to find my way to our apartment with no trouble at all and was happy to see that the apartment has not changed at all. I picked my bed and immediately laid down to relax after a long plane ride. After relaxing for a little, I went to say hi to my mishpachton from two years ago. My parents, Tzvika and Nika, were so happy to see me and I was so happy to see them. They had a newborn baby that I had the pleasure of meeting and Tzvika told me that we had some new kids in the house. Then, I went to lunch with the other girls and Tsipy in the village and they served us schnitzel (my favorite!!!). After, we went to visit each person’s mishpachton so they could meet their families. Then we went back to our apartment and began unpacking. My family told me there was a dance party at the village that night. So at 6 o’clock, we went down to the courtyard area and hung out with the kids! It was so fun dancing around and meeting a lot of new kids. After the party, I went back to my mishpachton and had dinner with my family. It was amazing to be back in the Assaf house. After dinner, I watched the kids play just dance for AN HOUR while a few of them played on my phone. By that time, I was exhausted and said to say goodnight to my family so I could return to the apartment and get some sleep. It was good to be back in the Children’s Village. I missed it so much.
