Today we woke up with a lovely view of the Dead Sea and we had our breakfast overlooking the amazing landscape. Then we left for Jerusalem! The group had a chance to visit the Western Wall, where we wrote little prayers on tiny pieces of paper and put them into the wall. We were on the side for women since there are separate sides for men and women. Then we went on a tour of the Kotel tunnels of the Western Wall where we learned about the history of Jerusalem. After that we got to eat our favorite Israeli foods – falafel and schnitzel, and had ice cream for dessert! We had a chance to meet and talk to some soldiers outside of the Israeli parliament and finally we got dinner at a great Italian restaurant.
