Day 9 – Letters from the Children’s Village 2018

By Samuel Freudenberg

Today was a sad day filled with adventure. We had to say goodbye to our Mishpachtonim. I will admit I cried a little. We then had a three hour car ride to our camel riding adventure, where it was so hot we were making swaps with our sweat. It was really fun and we named or camels… Vishal and I named ours Reggae camel. Then we had more driving to the dead sea. We checked into our hotel and went to a mall to eat food at Aroma – it was delicious. After that, we actually got to go into the Dead Sea. It was very cool when we were able to float so easily. We all divided up, going back to the mall or going swimming in the very cold pool. We reflected on the day, where I may or may not have cried again.
