Arrival and Welcome Reception
Guests are greeted upon arrival and invited to explore the exhibit.
- Opening Remarks
Kate Lukazawitz and Ellen Resnek from Classrooms Without Borders. - Emily Loeb from The Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh.
- Hannah Lessing, General Secretary of the National Fund of the Republic of Austria for Victims of National Socialism since 1995, and has overseen the Fund for the Restoration of the Jewish Cemeteries in Austria since 2010.
- Milli Segal: Introduction to the exhibit’s significance, offering insights into the historical context and the stories behind the photographs on display.
- Michelle Ultman, a second-generation descendant, will share a personal account and reflections on the legacy of the Kindertransport.
Performance by Katia and Emili Stahovic
A musical performance featuring traditional and evocative pieces, including a violin performance that intertwines historical and contemporary themes.
Closing Remarks and Acknowledgments
Final thoughts will be shared by staff from Classrooms Without Borders and the Holocaust Center, with expressions of gratitude to guests and participants.
