Plung is not an exceedingly common surname. In fact, other than my family, I know of only one other Plung individual, and I assume that, somewhere along the line, there is something of a relationship between us. I was shocked, then, when, on a whim and inspired by the past few days, I entered my surname into the Yad Vashem database and got this result.
I’ve never heard of this person in my life, but I know that my family is from Eastern Europe. It’s probably not too far of a stretch that this Feiga was a relative. I’m going to try and learn more.
