Learning Intro:
In this section of the survey, we ask you to respond to several reflection questions about how this experience has impacted your learning. We will use these responses to support our internal learning and for marketing and fundraising purposes to communicate impact to our external stakeholders.
What did your travel experience teach you that you could never have learned in a classroom setting?
Reflect on some aspect of the seminar that totally changed your thinking on a specific issue. Describe what the change in your thinking is, what sparked it, and how you will share or leverage it with your students, colleagues, and/or community.
In what ways do you envision bringing this experience to a larger audience?
What were the 3 most interesting ideas or experiences that you will take back to your students, colleagues, and/or peers?
By the time of your participation in the study seminar, had you ever previously traveled outside of North America?
What were your expectations prior to the study seminar?
Please explain your response to the previous question.
Which 3 sites had the most impact on you? Please provide a short description of how they affected you.
Where would you have liked more time to explore the exhibits? Were there any particular sites that weren't effective or could be improved or omitted?
Please comment on the quality of this program, including the master educators, guides, leadership, staff, and travel accommodations. All responses will be kept confidential. Do you have any suggestions for how we can better meet the specific needs of educational leaders?
Before / After
Sometimes experiences change how we assess our own levels of understanding. We’ll ask you to rate your level of knowledge/understanding of 5 topics twice. First, we ask you to think back to before you participated in the pre-seminar meetings or the seminar itself and assess what your level of knowledge was at that time. Then, we ask you to evaluate your level of understanding now.
