Israel 2015 = Amazing

No place like home however, Israel 2015 from the participants to the sites to the Israeli teachers was amazing.

I’m still absorbing and reflecting as I plan to sit down over the next week and share my experiences with my three daughters.  I’m sure many more ideas will spring from teaching them what I learned about the religious and political aspects of life there to the relationships I created with the other participants on the trip.

This brings me to one of the last meetings we had with a female chemist who is starting a company called Know It Alls.  As a mother of three girls, I am invested in being a decent role model for them and promoting females in science.  The Know It Alls have written books about females in physics, biology and chemistry and the challenges and successes during their adventures.  One of the messages I received in Israel is the concept that we must take risks, fail, but continue in order to be successful which the Know It Alls have incorporated into the books.  I was impressed by their initiative and the message they were sending to young female scientists.
