Classrooms Without Borders is proud to announce the national public television broadcast of The Cure for Hate, an urgent and deeply moving documentary that confronts the roots of extremism and the transformative power of atonement.
This powerful film follows Tony McAleer—a former neo-Nazi leader turned anti-hate activist—as he journeys to Auschwitz in the spirit of teshuvah, or repentance. Through this raw and emotional pilgrimage, McAleer explores the rise of fascism, the lure of extremist ideology, and the enduring need to challenge hatred in all its forms.
As part of our ongoing commitment to combating antisemitism and promoting education through lived experience, Classrooms Without Borders is honored to support this broadcast through the Department of Homeland Security’s Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) grant.
