The Preparation Begins

MeetingHow will the students prepare for this visit to Poland? What will they read? How will they pack? What do they anticipate? Just some of the questions that I am sure are going thru their heads, and possibly the parents as well. The last meeting before boarding the plane on July 2 was held at the United Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh.

The students, teachers and parents received last minute instruction, the transportation tickets and had the opportunity to ask questions. Participants received a special beautiful Classrooms Without Borders shirt, reading packet and important information that will make the trip more meaningful. A resource book especially compiled for the trip that includes timelines, maps, historical documents and statistics as well as thematic articles relevant to each day’s activities. It also includes site specific articles that offer additional information. Poland Personally: A Study Seminar to Poland immerses teachers and students in Poland and its culture.

So if you are a student who is going to Poland with us, check out your “Blogging Skills” by posting a comment answering the question, WHY AM I GOING ON THIS STUDY TRIP? The link to add your comments is above under the headline.
