Howard Chandler: Survivor | Educator | Mensch
In honor of Howard’s 95th birthday this month, CWB is launching a scholarship fund in his name.
Howard Chandler, a Holocaust Survivor, has selflessly educated hundreds of educators and thousands of students, inspiring them to learn and remember, and then take action to make positive change.
In addition to honoring Howard Chandler with the Classrooms Without Borders (CWB) Difference Maker Award, CWB has established a Scholarship Fund in Howard’s name. This fund will help support educators and students who otherwise would not be able to travel and learn with us in Poland. Howard has dedicated much of his life to sharing his story and inspiring students to make the world a better place for us all, and CWB is very excited for this opportunity to honor him in this way. We know the learning community he has inspired will be his living legacy for generations.
CWB would like to make sure his legacy continues. Please honor Howard, and support teachers and students
for years to come, with your contribution.
